When we took our initial visit to Ireland in August of 2024, we had the privilege of taking a walk with a new friend from the church and his two children, along a beautiful path near the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon, Ireland. This hotel is a restored mansion, that has been converted to a breathtaking hotel and spa.

As we walked along together, enjoying the beautiful summer weather, we came upon a creek that ran parallel to the path. Our friend’s children started playing in the creek, exploring and looking for “toad spawn,”a.k.a- tadpoles. As we talked, the kids came up and showed us stones from the river that they had found, the shape of which distinctly resembled little hearts. The Lord instantly reminded me of Ezekiel 36:26,

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

We are convinced that this is exactly what the Lord is doing in the hearts of the people in Ireland. In a place where hearts are hardened by a history of dry religion and by the cares of this world, the Lord is breathing new life into the people, changing their hearts to have Him be the Lord of their lives.

We are excited and grateful to be able to be a part of the Lord’s work in Ireland, and to join other believers that are already doing the work of sharing the Good News of Hope in Jesus.
